The feature class includes photo attachments that have been taken by the field staff during their site visits. The data is collected in the Chatham County ArcGIS Online organizational account utilizing Survey 123 as the collection software. The data is exported from ArcGIS Online weekly by the Chatham County GIS staff and appended to a local file geodatabase which serves as the data source for this service. The photos are extracted from the file geodatabase as separately named attachments using a custom python script tool and stored on a local server for QA/QC. This process allows for the data to be deleted weekly from the ArcGIS Online hosted feature service to allow for faster download speed of the data on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
This service serves as the backbone for an administrative operations dashboard that allows for a snapshot view of the overall project progression. |
