Building footprint polygons collected by EagleView following the 2023 county aerial photography flight. Features are associated with the EagleView ChangeFinder project. Features are coded based on their detected change between 2021 and 2023 EagleView aerial imagery flights. Not all footprint features included in this dataset currently exist, however, an attribute field of the data provides information for discerning between demolished, changed, and newly constructed building footprint features to ensure a temporally comprehensive dataset of buildings in Chatham County, NC. This representation of the building footprints supports the local government basemaps. It also serves as a source for public works, public safety, planning and other agencies that are responsible for the active management of site addresses, facilities, and land use information.
