The data was downloaded from the North Carolina Floodplain Mapping Program (NCFMP) for use in Chatham Counties' enterprise mapping platform. Preliminary Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM) panels and the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) Reports (both dated August 30, 2013) were issued to Chatham County and incorporated communities within Chatham County.The 2013 data is utilized by multiple Chatham County departments, but is most heavily utilized in planning and permitting.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
